To increase the chances of fertilization, the pituitary gland is stimulated hormonally beforehand, so that several to a dozen ova appear in a single cycle - in a natural cycle only one egg matures.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Suitably 'grown' egg cells are retrieved using a special surgical needle. The woman's partner donates his semen at this time, which will later be used for fertilization. The egg cells taken from the woman's body are transferred immediately to a plate with culture medium selected for proper structure and size. Male semen is also subjected to appropriate \"processing\". Those spermatozoa are selected that are distinguished by correct morphology and sufficiently high motility, and if the number of such spermatozoa is too low, the semen donation can be repeated, but only after a few days. Better sperm quality can be provided by the recommended <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/honorata-skarbek.com\/en\/feronex\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"251\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">erection pills<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then the gametes are fused and incubated for the next 24 hours.
